Phil and Ted's Stroller

★★★★ (out of 5 stars)
This stroller is killer, I love it.
It has three easy to maneuver air pumped tires and is designed to be very versatile.  It is designed to work with your infant car seat or hold your infant in a laying position, or keep your toddler pinned in with the straps.  It also has an additional attachment that can be used for your second child and you do not have to get those crazy double wide strollers which are a real pain to push around.  I have used it for jogging, around the mall, to and from dinner, I use it with the kid to walk to the dog every day.

My only problem with it is that it s pretty big and bulky and hard to close up and open.  Otherwise it is the best every day stroller I have used.

Here is a quick video about how it works, it was a little confusing in the beginning.

Diaper Dude Diaper Bag

★★★★ (out of 5 stars)
I have had this bag since before my son was born. I knew I was going to be the stay at home dad and so I searched for a "cool" dad bag that was functional and stylish (which I am not stylish at all).
The wife and I saw this guy at a rest stop with this bag so we harassed him about it, and then went on the hunt to find it.

While they offer many style colors like camouflage and skull and crossbones, I ended up with the brown with orange zippers. I like this bag a lot, it has three outside pockets that hold my diapers, wipes, and water or milk cup. The inside has a big open pocket for books, extra clothes, snacks, etc.... It also comes with a little pad to lay down when changing diapers in public, a key lanyard, an adjustable padded shoulder strap, and a small pocket on the back of the bag for when you need to stuff something in there.

Over all I gave this bag 4 out of 5 stars. I only down graded it b/c it does not ride on my back the why I would have wanted it to. It needs to be more adjustable and come up higher on my back. It rides a little too low for my liking.

La Sportiva Wildcat Trail Running Shoes

★★★★★
I give these 5 out of 5 stars
I bought these at the end of the summer from REI, they were having a sale, to get rid of stuff that did not sell well. I am not sure why this did not sell well, b/c these are the best pair of trail running shoes I have ever used. I have been buying La Sportiva shoes for almost 10 years now, but their trail running line is just getting better and better each season.
The uppers are mess and extremely breathable, which is excellent in the mid-Atlantic summer heat.  They also make this in a Gore-tex version for those that are looking for more coverage year round.  The sole is super comfy and has large lungs for traction control and also a technology special to La Sportiva that helps control your feet on the way down hill.  Plus La Sportiva is a climbing shoe company at heart so all their shoes have a sticky rubber on them.
Basically, they feel like a extra comfy street runner but with the bad-ass-ness of a trail runner.
I highly recommend these for anyone looking for a new trail runner.
